Brought tears to my native Mexican/Texan eyes, Banjo.

Few people know that Townes had a visionary mom just like Forest Gump (who simply advised on how to get through life, "Run, Forest, Run"), according to Townes his mom advised "just sing, Townes. Don't talk, just sing and play."

He went against mom on this video, but pulled it out at the end by sticking to her advice.

One of my favorite TVZ songs. I first heard it in 1990 when a Post colleague gave me a cassette tape of Live at the Old Quarter, where he tells all those corny jokes. Emmylou also does a mighty nice version.

I thought it was Jenny who told Forrest to run ... ?
