I guess this doesn't surprise me

US Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, she of Houston's 18 District, makes an appearance at the Lay/Skilling Enron trial, stopping to give Ken Lay and wife a buss on the cheek, reports Kevin Whited at blogHouston, citing the blog of the Houston daily's Mary Flood.

It's all great theater. Almost vaudevillian.

I still miss Mickey Leland. And Craig Washington.

Neither was without faults, of course, but at least they weren't this dadgum embarrassing.
