Another emissions event

A veritable potpourri of contaminants was released today at the British Petroleum plant south of Alvin. Wind and rain blew out a flare at 7 a.m., then, at 11:13 a.m., compressor trips caused the Olefins 2 unit to go haywire.
The contaminants released:

Butadiene, 329.0 lbs;
Butene, 107.0 lbs.;
Ethylene, 1883.0 lbs;
Propane, 425 lbs.;
Propylene 671.0 lbs.;
Acrylonitrile, 45 lbs.;
Carbon Monoxide, 1 lbs;
Hydrogen cyanide, 26 lbs.

Have a nice day.
