"How To Eat A Watermelon"
Don Cheadle, the actor, was on the TV last night promoting a movie in which he portrays Petey Greene, a Washington, D.C., radio and television personality who apparently was quite popular before he died in the 1980s.
Mr. Cheadle said after Mr. Greene died, some 10,000 to 20,000 people showed up for his funeral.
He mentioned there's a clip on the YouTube of one of Mr. Greene's TV episodes entitled, "How To Eat A Watermelon."
I'm fairly certain, here in the year 2007, that you wouldn't see something like this on a broadcast TV station, unless it was Dave Chappelle trying to make you laugh at the absurdity of the scene.
Here it is ....

That's how we country folks, black or white, eat our watermelon: newspaper, butcher knife, kitchen towel, and yes, sometimes salt. And country folks use words like bottom to describe where people live.
I wonder what Mr. Greene would think about burying the N-word.
Be yourself.
