Laugh or die, suckah
There's a new video deal on the Web where you're asked to vote homemade humor videos up or down.
Banjo says check it out.
They've got Will Ferrell involved in this to get it off the ground, and some of the videos do amuse, and some do not.
The tone of some make you wonder if, in this Post-Imus Age, that doing "ethnic voices" in the name of humor will no longer have a place on the "public" (ie., federally regulated) airwaves and will now migrate to a safe haven on the Internet.
Holla-atcha.

Dear Banjo,
Which ones amused you?
I could use a laugh, but haven't found one yet.
SF Mom of One
there was a phone prank video that made me laugh. white teen-age boy gets on phone with another white teen-age boy and, in the voice of a steoreotyped black teen-age inner-city female, tells the kid that LaShonda wants to meet him after school to beat him up cause of something he did.
Kid on the hook just can't believe it and keeps asking, who?, I don't know a LaShonda, I don't know what this is all about ... it goes on and on til finally the kid says he appreciates the warning.
but, see, i'm a sucker for phone pranks, but, as I alluded to in the post, the days of doing ethnic voices may have run its course in the wake of Imus, cause it might be considered racist.
anyway, i don't see the video on the site at this moment, so maybe they removed it, or else it's somewhere on there though I don't feel like searching too hard for it.
good luck in your search for a laugh.
