A pint and a half. 1.5 pints. One quart is two pints, which is 32 fl. oz., so 1.5 pints is 24 fl. oz. Right?
So, 24 fl. oz., two 12 oz. regular beers. So, if one consumed that amount of beer, one would be deemed to be legally incompetent to drive.
