The sun also rises in the west when it's a flare in Brazoria County, Texas

We received the above image in an email today, so here it is, with an explanatory headline. Here is the msg that was attached to the photo:

Banjo, Brethren of the Coast caught a beautiful Brazoria County sunrise looking west northwest from Campeche over Chocolate Bay over 2004 this AM.

Too bad no sound captured, sounded like a jet engine all the way off the coast on that 9 mph northwest breeze.

Permission granted for public use.

Apparently they were flaring "off spec" ethylene, it says here.
