Who dat gon' live in Nawlins in de offseason? Not Reggie Bush

The New Orleans Saints football team has been the recepient of much good public relations for its help in New Orleans recovering from the horrors of Hurricane Katrina.

Well, the Saints lost today to the Bears, so there won't be any Super Bowl appearance, and don't expect an awful too many of the Saints to stick around The Big Easy now that the seasons' over.

Reggie Bush, for instance, just bought a $5 mil house in the Hollywood Hills, where the LA Times says he'll spend the offseason.

"The trilevel house, high above the Sunset Strip, has views of Long Beach, Malibu and Catalina Island. There are four bedrooms and six bathrooms in its 4,800 square feet, serviced by an elevator.

Angie Thornbury, an interior designer whose company is the seller of the house, gave the contemporary home a party atmosphere and dramatic touches, such as its glass entry doors, which open to a soaring, 23-foot-high living-room ceiling and a penthouse master-bedroom suite, which has a deck. It has a home theater, party deck, playroom with a pool table, spa with a steam shower and massage table, library with a glass floor and a guest suite....Bush signed a six-year contract with the Saints that guarantees him more than $26 million and could be worth up to twice that.

He intends to use the house as his off-season home."

Administering to the downtrodden and further aiding the recovery of New Orleans will just have to wait til next season, we reckon.

At least New Orleans still has Brad and Angelina.
