3 emissions events, 1 full moon: coincidence?

There was a full moon last night and there were three emissions events in Brazoria County.

Three.

In one day.

Including one involving 272 pounds of benzene, 66 pounds of toluene and 60 pounds of "other organics" at Equistar Chemicals Chocolate Bayou Complex, and another at Solutia (also on Chocolate Bayou) involving 100 pounds of Acrylonitrile, sometimes known as vinyl cyanide.

So it was a bad day on the bayou, spoiling the beautiful full moon under which the nutria trappers worked, though it should be noted that
the third event was over in Sweeny, West o' the Brazos, and involved only a bunch of smoke in the air.
