Americans really are willing to sacrifice more than they've given credit for

With politics going the way it's going, and the war in Iraq causing some to question why we do some of the things that we do (as a country), it's easy to get kind of depressed about the state of America. Then something happens to restore your faith and you realize, hey, we're Americans, we're Number One, let's kick some tail. That was my reaction when I read this story.
