Texas leads the USA in the jailing of potheads, reports Grits For Breakfast. Everytime I watch an episode of COPS, I marvel at all the time and energy spent enforcing narcotics laws. That's not to say I favor marijuana smoking, cause I'm pretty sure it makes you stupid. But, good grief, given the choice between sitting in front of a pothead or a drunk at an Astros game, I'd vote for the pothead any day of the week. Much less spittle, spilled beverages, profane language and possible physical violence is involved. That's all I'm saying.
