Katrina shopping specials

The Galleria, Houston's high-end shopping mall, had an influx of shoppers with Louisiana accents on Monday. Bunches of hurricane evacuees showed up needing clothes and other essentials after leaving Bayou Country without being properly attired for an extended stay away from home. At Nordstrom's, the store decided to start giving away items normally reserved for its "purchase with a purchase" promos for Katrina customers.
