The 3 essential Bs: beer, blood, blawgin'

Last we heard, US Rep. Ted Poe was riding in the 4th of July parade in Baytown, where there were all of two floats and zero marching bands, but now we see Ted's writing one of those "High Tech blogs" for that lady that talks like Oliver's wife on Green Acres -- Arrianna Huffington.

He harkens back to his days on the Harris County criminal bench to make some sorta point about foreigners screwin' up the system. He's sounding pretty scholarly, then, when he gets to the last graf, he realizes he's the hangin'judge and decides to go all uber Texan and invokes the name of one of the more colorfully named burgs in his district.

Having been down in the mud, blood, and beer with real people, I have witnessed the Constitution’s impact on the lives of Americans. I submit that looking to foreign court decisions is as relevant as using the writings of Reader’s Digest, a Sears and Roebuck catalog, a horoscope, my grandmother’s recipe for the common cold, tea leaves, star gazing, or the local gossip at the barbershop in Cut N’ Shoot, Texas.

Blood 'n beer & Cut N' Shoot, by jiminy.
He's a tough, two-fisted-judge-turned-congressman, a'fightin' fer ya, a'drankin' fer ya, BLEEDIN', AND a'blawgin' fer yoo AND fer the Red WHITE & BLOOOO!
