Greatest Movie Quotes Ever:
#1 "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn." Gone With The Wind
#2 "I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse." The Godfather
#3 "I coulda been a contender." On The Waterfront
So says the American Film Institute in an entertaining three-hour TV special on CBS tonight.
Casablanca had the most quotes in the Top 100, with six memorable lines. Coincidentally, I photoblogged Casablanca last night. It's on banjo pics. Banjo says check it out.

Ha!!! Now, this is fun!!
But, where is, "Play it Sam."
One glaring omission from the list:
"We got corn, beans, rice, more corn, this here's string beans, beets..."
Bob Dylan as "Alias" in "Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid."

"Play it, Sam" was in the top 20, 25, but I didn't catch it in my photoblog. I had to keep jumping up from my Barcalounger at each key scene to grab the camera & take notes, and there so many of them, I was growing weary, but you're right, I definitely should have got that one ...
Bob never has gotten the respect he deserves as a film actor. Multi-talented, uh, yeah, I THINK SO.
You should edit out the spammer's URL, so he won't get any visitors from you. :D
Hey, banjo, how did you get on an investment bloggers spam list?
I KNOW WHAT HAPPENED!
It's the Dylan post above, with the words corn, beans, rice and beets on it!!!
Add those to the "words never to put on blog unless you wanna get spammed by futures investors" list!
i'm well-known throughout all strata of society
