Harvard Calling...

The Neiman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard University has included us (The Brazosport News) in its Fall issue of Neiman Reports, its quarterly publication.

The issue is about blogs and includes a short piece on our tumultous history that was penned by our founder, who has asked to remain anonymous.

In other news, a controversy has erupted over our initial, overly enthusiastic coverage of Arnold Schwarzenegger's candidacy for governor, now that all the news has come out about his penchant for inviting himself into the personal space of women who, for the most part, don't welcome his attention. If you'll recall, we had t-shirts made up promoting his candidacy. We even sold about 6 or 7. Anyway, now the staff is split over the wisdom of making Arnold the next governor of California, but it's a 50-50 split, not a clear majority either way. So, as California voters go to the polls tomorrow, we'd like it to be known on the record that we take back, sort of, our initial, 100 percent endorsement.
