Road trip
Here we are at the Cadillac Ranch, or, as I like to call it, Stonehenge, Texas.
It's just west of the Amarillo city limits in the Panhandle.
People from around the world stop here.
On this day, I met a woman from Ontario, whose husband stayed in the car on the feeder road by I-40, while she walked out into the pasture for a closer look, and a woman from Switzerland and her two kids.
They were taking pictures, like me.
The Swiss lady wasn't all that impressed, saying she was a bit disappointed. I asked where she heard about this place, and she mentioned something about a music festival. Her English wasn't all that great, or maybe she couldn't understand my hayseed accent. Her kids said they thought the planted Cadillacs were "great."
The lady from Canada said something along the lines of, "It's amazing what you can do with a bunch of old cars."
I shot some video here and plan to put together a little film of my visit, upload it to the YouTube and post here, but that's for another day.
If you'd like to read more about this roadside attraction, you might start here.
Vaya con huevos.

I thought they were called 'carhenge'.
I've also heard stories of copycats, using different themes, like a bunch of Ford Pintos-- but I've never seen any pictures, just stories.
