Blogging about Baby

Baby blogs give parents a chance to vent and a way to re-assert their identities, which can get subverted when offspring arrive, say experts interviewed by the NY Times in Sunday's editions.

What happens when Baby grows up, turns 16, starts dating and his/her entire life can be Googled by grown-up Baby's inquisitive love interest, wonders the Times.

The way I figure it, by around age 8 or 9 or so, pre-teen Baby will start blogging about Mom & Dad. Turnabout is fair play. Turnabout can open a whole new can of worms, eh. ("Mom and Dad got totally tanked last night." "Mom called Dad an asshole when he came home late last night.")

Latest count on Baby blogs is 8,500. [NYT]
