Here comes the Texas Tribune
The nonprofit digital newspaper launches tomorrow with a staff of 11 reporters who have abandoned their jobs with established daily newspapers.
Why'd they do that?
Well, some of them are making up to $90,000 per year, far more than the vast majority of their ink-stained brethren, according to this column by Howard Kurtz.

Whaddya think of it? That dude saying he's a classic limousine liberal makes it sound like I can expect more of the same carpetbagging. Their blogroll doesn't inspire a lot of confidence, either, if you're not on the Progressive (progressive?) side of the aisle.
