A case of arson

So I'm in Oklahoma City, where I have kinfolk (and go by my other name), and I walk outside last night about 2 a.m. to see a man about a horse and get a breath of fresh air.

I hear this odd noise. I look to the west and there's a HUGE house fire. It looks close enough to reach by foot, so I grab the camera bag and start walking, double-time.

I then realize it's farther away than I thought, so I go get the car.

At the scene, some lady cusses me out for photographing her house, which is fully involved (that's fireman talk for "it's burnin' good, real good"), despite the fact I tell her "I'm a photographer" (if you have a camera, you're a photographer, am I right?)

Then I read in the local paper it's arson. The editors of the local paper said they were gonna use a still photo in the Monday editions.

So here's the video. The lady cussin' me out is about two-thirds of the way through.

Good little article and video, Banjo! I too almost always have my camera handy.

You'd think she would appreciate someone documenting the loss. Unless she's ... GUILTY. OF. ARSON.
