ConocoPhillips still crappin out Brazoria air

State regulators up at the state capital today levied a big fine today against one of the more persistent jake legs doing business in the Petrochemical Underarm of Texas.

ConocoPhillips Co. in Brazoria County was penalized $228,900 for 7 air violations, including failure to maintain equipment, exceeded allowable emissions levels of sulfur dioxide and carbon monoxide, failure to comply with hydrogen sulfide maximum concentration limit, and unauthorized emissions on two days in April, 2007.

Nothing ever changes.
