The Republican status quo is coming after Ron Paul, but they should read their own party platform first

While Ron Paul, our Favorite Son candidate for president, continues to make waves in New Hampshire and Jay Leno's show and other places, the Republican long knives back home in the peace-lovin 14th Congressional District are plotting a coup, reports
the county seat, which gained our admiration for plowing through the state's party's platform to demonstrate that The Grumpy Gynecologist has got some bona-fides that his Republican enemies conveniently ignore.

If you're pressed for time, and we understand how busy you rednecks are with the weekend on, and you can't bring yourself to read the entire post put up by the county seat, we'd like you to make a special effort to hit the hyperlink they provided that says, "PaxAmerica."

It's a YouTube clip of our president from the year 2000, when he almost sounded like Ron Paul sounds today.

Do you mean to tell me that a political party said one thing and meant something completely different?

I am shocked, amazed and enraged, and now must have to do something. But, what?

I know, I'll vote for Ron Paul. Which I was gonna anyhow.
