Ron Paul says 4th place would be OK

You don't want to set your sights too damn high this early in the '08 presidential race.

With the Ames Straw Poll scheduled for Saturday up in Iowa, our Favorite Son candidate figures 4th place would be awright.

Keep your powder dry, in other words.

In this NY Times video report, US Rep. Ron Paul of the Fightin 14th Congressional District of Texas is seen talking to a room that is not-exactly-bursting-at-the-seams with really old lookin people, which the reporter said illustrates the limits of our boy's purported Internet-fueled juggernaut ... because, like, really old people don't use computers and listen to a lot of AM radio, we guess.

Someone really needs to send Congressman Paul to ITT Tech or some other crash course in basic technology. I reckon his Internet fever would spike if he actually understood how it worked and could intelligently communicate with its users on issues that matter to them (online privacy, net neutrality, etc).
