You mean, The Realtor Lied?

There is no such thing as a "constant level lake," we learned this week, after the constant level lakes in Austin didn't remain at constant level.

The flooding would have been worse had the Lower Colorado River Authority not started draining the chain o' lakes in and around Austin before the current deluge that has swamped the Hill Country (after checking the weather forecast mostly likely), one of our readers in Austin informed us by email.

So those Realtors that sell the high-dollar homes along Lake Austin are fibbing when they tell prospective homebuyers that the lake level doesn't change.

There's a lawsuit here somewhere, we're thinking.
