Legendary Texas singer/songwriter Billy Joe Shaver apparently shot some guy who had a knife at a place called Papa Joe's Saloon in Lorena, Texas.
There'll probably be a song in this, considering the name of the saloon, the name of the town (Lorena, the name of the whore in "Lonesome Dove") and the fact that it's Billy Joe Freakin' Shaver.
Looks like the shootee is gonna survive, and we hope the shooter will come out of it A-OK, too.

I have a friend - no, really - who kinda knew Billy Joe back in the day. He says that Billy Joe has always been one of those guys who is either a holy-roller or a party animal, and goes from one extreme to the other periodically.
There are quite a few people like that, evidently.
