Early voting has Kinky stoked

Kinky Friedman, the independent candidate for Texas governor, was on MSNBC yesterday, saying that if early voting trends hold true (they're higher than last time), he's confident he'll be the next governor. I'm not sure how he knows which way those early voters voted and the lady on TV didn't ask. The lady on TV did ask, however, "What's a conversation with Jesse Ventura like," and Kinky said Jesse Ventura looks like a pirate. Right about then, they lost the satellite signal. If it hadn't been for that unfortunate event, I'll bet the lady on TV was gonna ask him a real hard question, like, "So why are you so far behind in the polls?" But maybe not.

**The Kinkster's Website notes 60 percent increase in Harris County early voting.

**Local paper in Clute endorses re-election of Congressman Ron Paul, citing his "voice of independence and an ethical fortitude that keeps him free of the entanglements of modern politics," which we think means they realize he votes against a lot of stuff but what the hey, Congress is, like, FUBAR.

Kinky Friedman will go down as just another Asshole who dared to dream, and, we all know, there are legions of those fuckers. The uncouth cowboy Clayton Williams comes to mind.
