Ron Paul: You can't stop him, you can only hope to contain him

Our peripatetic Congressman, Ron Paul, the Republican/Libertarian from Surfside, is ready for his close-up.

He appears in a new documentary that posits America is well on its way to being a "police state," and has been since 1913, when the Federal Reserve banking system was created.

Aaron Russo's film, "American Freedom to Fascism," features the 14th District Congressman and others.

"Congressman Paul makes a compelling argument for the proposition that
America is already in the process of becoming a police state. Russo also
includes some disturbing police video which helps augment Paul's point," says
this story.

Police video?

Could they be talking about the big Brazoria County Jail shakedown of Missouri prisoners awhile back? The one where prisoners are ordered to crawl around on the floor au natural?

We'll probably never know, as the film, likely devoid of car chases, more than likely won't be playing the local cineplex.
