THE GOOD NEWS
Ya'll got the good news didn't ya?
I believe it's in Deuteronomy.
It goes: Whosoever shall keepeth Christmas ornamentations past the time whensoever the cock crows nigh January second shall vouchsafe to be called a redneck.
I forget the chapter and verse. Pretty sure it's Deuteronomy. Or Proverbs. One of those.

It's like poet Dylan said:
Well, the Book of Leviticus and Deuteronomy,
The law of the jungle and the sea are your only teachers.
In the smoke of the twilight on a milk-white steed,
Michelangelo indeed could've carved out your features.
Resting in the fields, far from the turbulent space,
Half asleep near the stars with a small dog licking your face.

I take it the neighbors haven't taken down their display yet... =)
Banjo, I love ya, but you're way off on this one. January 6 is the cutoff date, since the 12th day of Christmas is January 5. Until then, you can have my 8-foot inflatable snowman when you pry it from my cold, dead lawn. :)
