Country Music TV "Going Kinky"

Nobody said electing Kinky Friedman governor of Texas would be easy.

Sacrifices must be made. This is where we the people come in. We will have to sacrifice our collective beauty sleep on Nov. 9 to do our small part.

That's when, in the wee hours of the morning, we will tune our TeeVee sets to Country Music Television to watch "Going Kinky."

CMT has been on the campaign trail with the Kinkster, following his "circus with a purpose" to fundraisers, speechraisers and trips to the barber.


CMT will decide whether to turn "Going Kinky" into a "full-blow reality TV series" based on the success, or lack thereof, of the pilots.

'Course, you don't have to sacrifice your beauty sleep if you have one of those DVRs or TIVOs.

The "pilots" will air at 1:00 AM and 1:30 AM CST on Wednesday, November 9th. Ya'll come.
