The hurricane evacuation plan didn't work. The county judge blames the state. The local DPS trooper in charge blames panicky Houstonians. Inadequate numbers of DPS troopers showed up to block freeway entrances.

I'll say it again. Are we The Land Where Texas Began? Or The Land That Texas Forgot?

The guv's press office ain't returning calls. And we still don't have a representative on Lil' Ricky's "evacuation task force."
