BP UPDATE: Pulmonary disease alert !


BP has updated its emissions reports regarding the explosion last night at its Chocolate Bayou chemical facility.

Released during the incident was 39,000 pounds of Harborlite Perlite Amorphous Alumina Silicate PM10 material.

The good news: it's not classified as carcinogenic.
No so good news: PROLONGED AND REPEATED EXPOSURE TO EXCESSIVE CONCENTRATIONS OF THIS PRODUCT'S DUST, OR ANY NUISANCE DUST, CAN CAUSE CHRONIC PULMONARY DISEASE. DUST CONTACT WITH EYES MAY CAUSE TEMPORARY SCRATCHINESSOR REDNESS.
