Troubled doc has vamoosed to Switzerland

Dr. Eric Scheffey of Houston has lost his medical license after a series of unfortunate events.

Scheffey has had his fabulous gated house over by Rice University for sale for some time now and recently reached a sales agreement, according to our real estate sources. The home was listed at around $6 million. It's a fine old home he's selling, located next door to the abode of the Rice University president. He owns several very cool Ferrari automobiles that he keeps in the garage, we're told.

Moreover, Scheffey moved to Switzerland last year and indications are he's not coming back, our spies advised.

As you probably know, Switzerland has no extradition treaty with the United States.
