Cowboy Up. It's Rodeo Time!

Joe Parker came all the way from Seattle, as he does every year, to participate in the Southwest Trail ride that moved through Brazoria and Fort Bend counties on Wednesday.
Joe first came to the Houston area during his military service. His wife got him into riding during their years in Texas; now he rides more than her. Joe moved to Seattle for a job opportunity about 5 years ago, but said he takes a week's vacation each year to come to the trail ride and rodeo. He says he loves the camaraderie and good times. The horse he rode Wednesday was borrowed from a fellow trail rider who came down from Oklahoma.
