The Facts Awakens, Yawns, Reports Dow "Upset"

Congratulations to The Facts for jumping on the Dow story, reported here three days ago. Those newshounds can smell a story from a mile away, or in this case, a story that's just down the street from their Clute headquarters. It may take 'em awhile to get all the facts, but at least it's in the paper.

And a belated tip 'o the cap for that picture in the Sunday paper of the girl in the cap 'n gown, a hobo rucksack hanging on a stick she had slung over her shoulder, as she moseyed on outta the county. It was a real Grapes of Wrath moment. The timing of the photo, just as the gal passed the Brazoria County sign, was a stroke of journalistic genius since newspapers, wary of ethical concerns, are careful not to stage their photos these days.
