Who is HOWARD DEAN?

Like a drowning man reaching for a lifeline, the disintegration and subsequent reconstruction of the Brazoria County Democratic Party hierarcy is microcosm (ohh, BIG WORD!) of the national and state parties. IE, Things are screwed up. As Democratic presidential candidates prepare to debate this weekend in South Carolina, we ask, Who in the hell is Howard Dean? Might he be the reincarnation of Jimmy Carter, a fresh-faced governor who comes out of nowhere to wow the masses? We know this much. He has his own blog, so he's hep enough to be plugged into the blog revolution. But perhap Democrats, deep down, long for a familiar face, one who will remind them of the country they knew before Rap Music, Al Qaeda and reality TV held sway. Where have you gone Joe Dimaggio?
