Having said that, my sense is that Pollard's edgy attitude is good for the Texans. The Texans defense has been soft since the team's inception. Pollard is certainly not soft. Takes a few players like that to change a well-entrenched culture.

Not me. I used to read Ron Rozelle's column, but I don't want to pay for it. The chain that owns the Facts must own the paper in Brownwood, where I once lived. It's switched to the same on-line pay format. And what happened there was that someone started a free on-line paper that's pretty darned good. So I read that one.

Why am I so cynical? Paul probably doesn't give a crap to be the Libertarian heir apparent. Just show him the money.
